Zachary's Ladder 2014

This is where it all started for Gorman Winery.  In 2002 it was our first and only wine we produced.  The Zachary's Ladder 2014 is a full-bodied and velvety blend of all of our Red Mountain vineyards and aged in100% French oak for 20 months.  All of the barrels used on this wine were once used, allowing the fruit to be the main componant and "star" of this wine.

The 2014 is a powerful blend of 73% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Syrah & 12% Petit Verdot.

Vineyard Sources: Quintessance, Kiona & Boushey

The Bully 2012

The Bully is a dense wine chock-full of power and grace from the heart of Red Mountain. 800 cased produced.

94% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Petit Verdot aged in new French oak.

"Year's Best Cabernets" 93 Points, Wine & Spirits

"Drawn primarily from Obelisco and Kiona Vineyards, this Cabernet flirts with Red Mountain's power, in its smoky, peppery scent and dark-fruited, black plum flavors. But rather than heavy, the wine feels saturated; rather than stalwart, the tannins are supple. Those tannins give the impression of movement, a nimble texture guiding the wine to a graceful finish."

-Wine & Spirits

92 Points, Wine Advocate

"Incorporating 6% Petit Verdot and raised in 100% new French oak, the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon The Bully is another full-throttle, pedal-to-the-metal effort from Chris that gives up terrific black fruits, melted licorice, tar, roasted herbs and hints of chocolate. Chewy, decadent, full-bodied and layered, it stays remarkably graceful, elegant and drinkable. Coming from some of the oldest vines on Red Mountain, drink it anytime over the coming 7-9 years"
Jeb Dunnuck, The Wine Advocate
